front view

Overall, this is going to an ideal car for somebody who needs reliable transportation with great gas milage without investing in a hybrid. I've kept everything in good working order--AC, Radio, etc. all work. I've treated is like I was going to keep it forever, which was the original plan, but I want to upgrade to something bigger.

Furthermore, this car has good ju-ju. It's gotten an engineering student through to graduation and my husband and I both completed our PhDs while owning this car. This might be the car to help you get through school. What this really means for you is that the owners have been calm, tranquil people more concerned with taking care of their car than racing it. It's very reliable with preventative work performed as suggested by my mechanic: battery, front brakes, new tires, all of which I tried to get high-quality parts, not crappy cheap ones just to get me by.

sexy tires

You can't really tell from any of the pictures, but at about 50,000 miles, I put on new tires GoodYear Assurance Triple Tread, premium all-weather tires. You can read what Consumer Reports has to say about them. They work great in rain and snow with a 6 year/80,000 mile warranty. I bought them from Discount Tire, I believe. If you live near one, they will rotate the tires for free. I've had them rotated at every 10,000 mile interval. Not only are they great tires, I think the tread looks sexy too.

motor/battery

I had a new DieHard Gold battery installed after the original was was loosing its umph.

My favorite part about this car is its reliability. The engine is in fantastic shape--when I told the mechanic I wanted to sell the car he asked me why?

history/maintenance

I bought this car from an engineering student with 19,000 miles. When I took it in to the Honda dealership have the 20,000 mile maintenance done, I found out the previous owner had already done it. I've completed the 30,000, 40,000, 50,000, 60,000 and 70,000 mile maintenance. I also have receipts for those. The last thing I did was an alignment. It's all ready to drive away without any worries.
